My particular symptoms were dome lights on and no power to driver door module (no mirror/any window/lock control), and the remote keyfob would not work to lock/unlock the doors which relies on power to the driver door module. I have a 2000 WJ Limited 4.7L, and I thought I would share the fix I made. EXTRA INFORMATION. NOTE *1 Use ORANGE/VIOLET for LOCK and PINK/BLACK for UNLOCK at the DRIVERS DOOR SWITCH. Use BLACK/WHITE for LOCK and PINK/BLACK for UNLOCK at the passenger front door switch. This vehicle requires (2) of part # 778 one for each door See DIAGRAM.

This may sound redundant, but have you checked the rubber grommets that lead from the door to the chassis? I noticed in my Jeep that they were not in their 'locked' position and a few wires had been rubbed to the point where the insulation was showing through and was shorting out the lock and was intermittent. Also, you will notice that there are 5 wires that go to the power window, and 5 to the lock on the passenger side. For each, 2 are for up/down or lock/unlock to be controlled from the passenger side, another set of 2 to be controlled form the driver side, and 1 ground for each.

Mine are yellow, and they are mounted somewhere inside the door. Painkiller hell and damnation pc trainer download for pc. Sometimes, intermittent operation can be a faulty ground, that is not tightly secured. You may have to open the inside of the door to see. Hope that helps! Alright, I have a 2000 cherokee classic with a similar window problem. Initially none of the power windows worked off there own switch, just the master, so from previous experience with my 94 grand Cherokee I bypassed the window lock switch and that did it.

Every window now works off there own switch EXCEPT the front passenger which only goes down on its own switch but not down and does nothing off the master. Now I have replaced both the master and passenger switches and tested the motor by hooking it up to my battery and it goes up and down just fine. Now the lock button on the passenger side works but it lags which is odd.

So my question is I know its clearly a wire somewhere. I want to replace all the wires in the harness thinking that's probably my issue would I have to replace the drivers side harness or the passenger side harness?
