The 'haplesss' hero is so much more that he seems, yet, what you see is what you get because of his honesty. I was really interested to see the books. I didn't know anything about the series. So I got the first book and was not disappointed at all, in fact, now that I have the audiobook too, I can listen to it repeatedly.The narrator is an excellent choice.
The timbre of his voice and his delivery are perfect for the main character and he is very talented at creating identifiable voices for the other characters, AND keeping them sorted out! There are passages with group conversations that are worth replaying. I look forwared to purchasing the next in the series! I haven't checked to see if the whole series is available yet, but one at a time I will aquire them!
